THIS Keystone Habit 🔑 Shifted my Timeline

Manifest a New Reality with Timeline Shifting

We all have one habit where we know if we could change it, it would radically transform the rest of our lives. Maybe it’s as simple as waking up earlier or eating more vegetables. Maybe it’s something more challenging like quitting smoking or drinking.

For me, that habit was waking up early - I’m talking 5:00am early!
Before you start to groan and think “I could never!”, trust me, I was the same way.

But, it was born out of necessity if I wanted to stick to my goals.

That week, my schedule was busy. My usual evening workout class just wasn’t going to make the cut. The 7:00am class was too late - I wouldn’t be at work on time.

So, the only alternative was to wake up at 4:30am for a 5:00am class…. YIKES was an understatement.

As someone who liked to stay up late and watch tv (for no particular reason), going to bed earlier would prove more challenging than waking up on time.

My usual habit of binge watching reality tv until 11:30pm had to go.

The first 2 nights were tough. I woke up groggy and dragged myself out of bed.
Day 3 was where things really shifted.

I started to wake up more naturally…
have more energy after class…
and getting more stuff done by 10:00am than I would have by 3pm on a normal day.

So, what happened to cause all these changes in a short period of time?

An identity shift took place.

I started identifying as someone who wakes up early and get’s shit done.

So my actions started to fall in line with that new belief.

Waking up at 5:00am became a keystone habit - meaning, it had a ripple effect on other areas of my life.

The great thing about keystone habits is they don’t need to be big or dramatic.

As I mentioned before, it could be as simple as:

  • reading before bed instead of watching tv

  • taking a break from social media

  • making coffee at home instead of ordering out every day.

They just need to be different than what you would normally do AND be in alignment with a goal you are trying to achieve. It breaks you out of the habit of who you currently are and moves you toward who you want to be. (ie manifestation.)

Waking up at 5:00am met both of these needs.

  • I used to workout in the evening. (Different)

  • It filled a need of sticking to my fitness goals. (Alignment)

As you start to build up little “wins”, you will start to change your self-image.

As you change your self-image, the thoughts/beliefs you have about yourself will also change, which will cause you to take new action.

So, how does this all play into manifestation?

Manifestation is a result of BELIEF + ACTION.

When you change your actions —> you form new beliefs about yourself —> which will cause you take MORE new action —> which will changes your beliefs even MORE…. and that’s how you manifest your desired reality.

You can’t call in your desired reality with your current mindset.

Otherwise, you’d already have it.

You have to change your beliefs FIRST, which requires you to take ACTION.

As you take action and build confidence in yourself, that’s when your beliefs change, as does your desired reality. REAL change happens through experiencing, not by sitting and passively waiting.

Your reality is just a reflection of the thoughts/beliefs/actions you hold about yourself and others.

So when YOU change, so will your outward reality.

Let’s put it into ACTION.
(Because that’s how things move, right?)

STEP 1: Pick one new habit to change for 21 days. (That’s how long it takes things to stick.)

STEP 2: Record your thoughts/feelings each day. (The brain changes through experiencing.)

STEP 3: Send me a message and let me know how it went! Or leave a comment on this post.
