Anxiety is Your Manifesting Superpower ⚡️ (Here’s Why)
Learn how to master your mindset (even while anxious)
Have you ever felt your anxiety has been a burden to manifesting your dream life?
Do you feel like it drags you down, gets you stuck in spirals and makes you feel hopeless about your current circumstances?
What if I told you anxiety is your secret weapon to getting everything you want?
It’s a blessing in disguise that not only helps you manifest FASTER, it puts you at a HUGE advantage to those who aren’t prone to overthinking.
Right now, you’re used to spiraling on negative thoughts.
But imagine the momentum you could gain if you could learn how to spiral on positive thoughts instead?
Since beliefs are just thoughts that you’ve had over and over and over again, once you change your beliefs, your outer reality will also change.
The only thing standing between you and your manifestation is the TYPE of thoughts you are having.
As someone who has struggled with anxious/depressive/intrusive thoughts - I know firsthand how challenging it can be to get a grip on what your mind is telling you.
You see, anxiety used to serve an evolutionary purpose.
It’s job was to keep us safe from danger and on high alert. In fact, it’s estimated that between 15-30% of the world’s population is made up of Highly Sensitive People (HSPs)… myself included.
We’re acutely aware of energies, lights, sounds, noises that bombard us in our day to day life.
We’ve just learned to mask it or numb it out because society teaches us that sensitivity and vulnerability are a weakness.
When I learned how to gently guide my anxiety in a different direction - it quickly became my BEST manifesting tool.
Here’s how I did it:
Become HYPER aware of the thoughts you repeat to yourself on a daily basis.
Start writing them down so you can see them laid out in front of you.
Get curious about why you’re having these thoughts?
ex.) I’m feeling like a failure at my job.
Why? Because I haven’t gotten a promotion or raise in the last few years.
Why? Because I haven’t been putting in the hours that would get me there.
Why? Because I’m not sure this job is the right fit for me anymore.
Why? Because I want to do something more in alignment with my passions…BINGO!!!
Now, what steps can you take to get you there?
2. Notice what may have caused the triggering thought in the first place.
Did you drink alcohol or smoke weed recently? (Even though it makes you anxious.)
Did you compare yourself to someone or something on social media?
Did a friend or family member make a comment that upset you?
Now, are these triggers something you can easily fix? (Drink less coffee, spend less time with your nagging aunt etc)
3. When you catch yourself spiraling, stop and take a beat.
Don’t force yourself into a more positive state if it seems to difficult.
You can start with saying “I’m starting to believe that ….”
This can prime your brain into believe that something new is possible for you without assuming the new state immediately.
Review the above 2 steps again and see if you can pull out any patterns.
4. Take action in the OPPOSITE direction you normally would.
If you would normally lay on the couch and watch tv, set a time for 10 minutes. Then, go do something else that brings you joy - take a walk, read a book, take a nap, have a cup of tea.
Prove to yourself that you don’t have to keep repeating this pattern. Over time, you will learn to build more trust and confidence in yourself.
Do activities that shift your energy out of your mind and into your body - yoga and breathwork are great for this!
Make sure to express gratitude for your anxiety!
(All it wants to do is protect you.)
It’s like the watchdog for your mind, alerting you when your thoughts are in direct contradiction to what you want to experience.
So when you catch yourself feeling anxious, realize that the resistance is there to let you know you’ve veered off course.
Gently guide yourself back using the steps above.
